Biographical Notes

Chia-Chun Chen

Dr. Chia-Chun Chen is currently the Professor at the Department of Chemistry, National Taiwan Normal University and the Adjunct Research Fellow at Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences of Academia Sinica. Prof. Chen received his Ph. D. degree in Chemistry from Harvard University in 1993. Later, he worked with Professor A. Paul Alivisatos as a postdoctoral fellow at UC, Berkeley during 1994-1996 and then returned back to Taiwan as an associate Professor at National Chung-Cheng University. In 1999, he was promoted to be a full Professor in 2001. Now, Professor Chen leads a researching team working on various topics relating to nanomaterials syntheses, and their optoelectronic and biological applications. Prof. Chen has published over 50 papers in internationally referred journals.
