Biographical Notes
Hiromasa Takahashi received the B.E., M.E. and Ph. D. degrees from the University of Keio, Tokyo, Japan, in 1989, 1991 and 1999, respectively.
From 1991 to 1999, he was a Research Scientist at the Hitachi Research Laboratory, Ibaraki, Japan. In 2000, he was a Research Scientist at the Central Research Laboratory, Tokyo. In 2004, he was also a Visiting Scientist at RIEC, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. Currently, he is Project Leader, spintronics devices for future HDD and memories in Hitachi. His current interests include a material design of future magneto-resistive device and its device applications, Nano-spintronics and applications of spin transfer torque nonvolatile memories
