Biographical Notes

Hsian-Rong Tseng

Dr. Tseng’s research interests include the development of microfluidics-based technology platforms and their use to address important issues in the fields of molecular imaging, cancer biology and chemistry.  He has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular & Medical Pharmacology in David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) since 2003.  Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral researcher with Drs. Fraser Stoddart and Jim Heath at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the UCLA (2000-2003).  To date, He has published more than 53 peer-reviewed papers, 3 book chapters and 14 conference proceedings, covering the fields of organic chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, molecular electronics and microfluidics.
