Biographical Notes

Yi Xie

Dr. Yi Xie is now a joint professor of Department of Nanomaterials and Nanochemistry, Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at Microscale, and Department of Chemistry, University of Science and Technology of China. She is also a recipient of many awards, including China Young Scientist Award, China Young Female Scientist Award, Excellent Graduate Advisor Award from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences-Bayer Young Scientist Award and the Cheung Kong Scholar from Ministry of Education, P R China. Her research interests are in solid state and materials chemistry. Currently, most of her work lies in the chemical preparation, characterization and physical properties of inorganic functional nanomaterials and nanostructures, including theoretical and experimental studies.
